Egypt - south...
 

I will be in Egypt in October / November time and want to go south. Currently looking at shipping past Sudan. Any thoughts? Can we get south by land?

I met a chap who made it through on a motorbike last year, all the way down to Kenya - he is currently in NZ but contact me via email for his email address (don't think he'd appreciate me posting his address to all and sundry!).

Why don't you ride through Sudan, its one of the greatest place you will ride in Africa. I was there in March as part of a transafrica and it was just wonderful. We also meet some people that got their visas in Cairo in only one week. Otherway ship to Djibuti from Egpyt or Saudi Arabia.
