Europe to Central Asia
Hi Everyone,
I would like to ask a open question thats probably been asked and answered before, but I'll ask anyway. I would like to know what a reasonable timeframe is to travel from Belgium to Central Asia (touring around the -Stans) and back. Would 2 months be pushing it if I dont spend much time crossing eastern Europe. Ofcourse I would love to not worry about how long it takes, but I still have to earn a living somehow :-) I am thinking to go From Belgium-Germany-Poland-Ukraine-Russia-Kazak-Kyrgyz-Tajik-Turkmen-Uzb and back. No dates set for the trip yet, but would like to start getting ideas. As I understand for this trip I wont need a carnet which eliminates one obstacle. Thanks, C. |
No carnet required but you might want to give yourself and extra month. Two months would do it in the saddle every day -I didn't spend a lot of time hanging around and it took me 3 and a half
