Following the Dakar
 

I know everybody last year said you can't follow the dakar because of the politics etc, for this years dakar I'm going down to see the start and the specials in france and spain. What I'd like to do is then travel down to egypt and see the finish. If I cross the med and try to follow the the coast i would have to travel through algeria tunisia and libya, the general consensus seems to be libya is a no go unless theres at least four of you. I'd welcome anyones advice or suggestions

I'll be following the Dakar in Egypt. Maybe we can hook up in the final stages.
