GENOA Italy - need friendly contacts
 

Hi!

I am catching a ferry to Tunis from Genoa on Saturday October 29. I am based on London. I will be back in Genoa late on November 18.

I am struggling finalising my plans to get my bike sent down to Genoa (saving the couple of days needed to drive down there - I wish I had more time, but I don't!). So here is what I am looking for:

1) contact details of a friendly freightforwarder that will charge a reasonable fee to transport my bike by road from London at a decent price, and return. Ideally it is a logistic company based in Genoa that would have a truck returning from London to Genoa (half) empty from Mid October. I have a crate on which to strap the bike. Any suggestion?

2) a friendly biker in Genoa with a garage where I could get the bike dropped off if I can't get the friendly logistic company to let me pick up my bike on a Saturday from their warehouse. I would pick up the bike on Saturday Oct 29 (flying in with friendly Ryanair!). I would leave my crate and return on November 18 and have the crate + bike picked up by (yes you guessed it!) the friendly logistics company.

Hardly over one month left to the departure - as you can see this is getting stressingly urgent! Thanks for any (friendly!) advice!

Yo! Anybody out there to give me the slightest hint of a possible hope that there is still someone left in Genoa?

I have now found a logictics company, but would need a drop off point.

Let me try again: would anyone know a friendly biker living in Genoa or its vicinity I could get in touch with?
