Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang- Renting
 

Hi Friend and I are looking to rent bikes and driving from Ho Chi Mnh City to Da Nang, flying back.

Anyone know anyone who rents out bikes in HCMC and then allows for the bikes to be left in Da Nang?

Any advice on the route would be good too.

My wife and I rented in HCM city and rode north and then just put the bike on the train to return. It was cheap and I think it would be very hard to do a one way rental. Not too much to choose from as far as bikes and you will have to leave a passport for deposit so I gave them the wife's.

ignore the address on TA, he has an office just off Bui Vien, the main strip in HCMC for hostels / hotels.


I can say that Hung was fantastic. I was paying about $8/day for a Honda Win and on the day he dropped everything to ride me around to buy maps, clothes, bags etc. Considering he has two offices and over 150 bikes to rent out that was appreciated.

He also organised a guide to get me out of HCMC, and gave me numbers for help / hotels / mechanics for the entire route.

When I dropped the bike off in Hanoi I sat with him and two other riders for a good 3-4 hours and he wouldn't let us buy beers the entire day.

Can't recommend him enough.
