Kentucky to Panama
Will be leaving for a 3 month trip to Central America in June (Suzkuki V Strom ). Crossing into Mexico at Brownsville, Tx. Calle 180-185-190 though Mexico to Guatemala. Then Calle 1 to San Jose Costa Rica. I have been to Costa Rica many times in the last two years ( Delta Airlines ). A wonderful country. I have travel a couple of hundred thousand miles in the USA on a motorcycle but never international. Any information and advice from anyone who has knowledge of the route will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to all in advance for you help; Tom :) |

Tom,
I'd recommend visiting the Travellers Stories pages - there's lots of info there form travellers who've been there. None of it is hard, the borders are a pain, but not HARD. You could easily "just go" and be fine and have a great time. Note your question is a bit "open" - to big and wide ranging for someone to write a response to in a few minutes. Read the stories, do a little research - search the HUBB and the HU website and then you'll have a lot of information to work with - and perhaps a few more specific questions that are easier to answer. See the Ezine for some more info too. Have a great trip, and do keep us posted - you could be in the ezine! |
