Kenya to Algeria not via Egypt
 

I am planning to meet my son in North Africa early January 2011 and then travel with him down the west coast of Africa to Johannesburg South Africa.

I need to get to Algeria from Kenya between Nov/Dec 2010.

What route would you recommend?

I would dearly love to go via Agadez (Niger) via Tamanghasset (Algeria) to Algiers.

Any suggestions and possible fellow travelers!
