Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan
 

Hello,

Does anyone know if its possible to go from Lebanon into Syria then travel north to turkey, Iran and over into Turkmenistan?

I am looking at going from Rabat to Calcutta possibly in 2011... I've managed to find shipping from Libya to Lebanon and was wondering if its possible to continue from there (Avoiding Egypt's expensive Carnet requirements which from reading appear to be 800%).

Any info would be really great.
