ME CRAZY? 2 Germay-Thailand on 86 Wing

Am I crazy?

US Passport -- considering traveling with my Thai National wife -- two up on my '86 Gold Wing Aspincade form Germany to Thailand next year.

How do-able?
How risky?
How big a hastle getting her Visa's
ETC?
Will it be FUN? :funmeterno:

Love to hear what you think?

Thanks JON

i think it depends on the route you wil take .
the iran-pakkistan wil be more difficilt with a US thane a Thai passeport.
the fun wil be what you make of it yourself .
an adventure it wil be fore sure :funmeteryes:

I know "Life is What You Make It" --- but with our present administration --- I am concerned abouts the limits of hospitality. Plus --- the trip is my dream and not my wife's so I worry about her happiness.

Will my vintage motor home on two wheels -- still looks shiny and new --- paint me as the rich Westerner and put people off? :scooter:

Don't be concerned about this. I am American too and spent 2 wonderful months in Pakistan on my bike in 2005. Pakistan is the most hospitable country I have ever visited.

You will probably have trouble getting a visa to travel overland through Iran as an American however, at least that was our experience in 2005.
