Mexico Temporary Import Permit
 

Hi,

I 've been in Mexico for a month and now I'm in Tulum. I'm going to Belize in two days and unfortunately I forgot to get Termporaty Important Permit when I came to Mexico from Nogales.

The reason was it was early morning on Sunday and I couldn't find anyone and I totally forgot that.

Now my question is what would happen when I want to cross the border to Belize. Do I need to pay any fine or what?

I was wondering if anyone could give a response as soon as possible.

Presumably you didn't get an FMM (like a tourist visa) at the border either

It is going to be Ok for you to cross border to Belize without temporary import papers as Yucatan peninsula is in some sort treaty with Belize and it is only place where you can exit Mexico without TIP.....my friend from Sweden did it last year. :thumbup1:
