hello everyone,
Arriving at melilla about 10th may,going south to Geurcif then on to Midelt.As its my first time in Morocco just wondering if the Melilla to Geurcif part of the route comes under the riff mountains.Have heard many dodgey tales. Any info appreciated. thank you. Roger

No, that way you'll not get near Riff...

There is one small thing, we came through Mellia later March, and they will not let you through without a greencard (insurance) - and the price at the border (when they have the papers - we had to wait for 3 hours), is around 100€... I would suggest that you get it sorted before going.
