North Chile after the earthquake
 

Is anyone based in or riding through Northern Chile? How is it there?
Am currently in Brasil about to head back west and wondered how things were after the quake.

Hi,

we left Chile via Arica last Friday (11.4.). There were no significant damages. But I don`t know, how it is in Iquique, which is nearer at the origin of the earthquake. In Arica we met a geologist, who predicted that the situation would ease after a short time. And really, we felt no further ground motions.
