parking the bikes in San Pedro Atacama
 

Hi folks, we would like to park our bike sfor about 2 weeks in San Pedro. Everybody in SA ggoes there..where do you stay, is there any place to park the bikes secure...

There are enough places to stay in SPDA to fit any budget. We stayed at Chiloe which was clean and inexpensive. I'm sure the lady owner would have no problem keeping your bike in her storage if you stay there a few days. If not, the travel agents around town are very accomodating.

There is a Swiss guy living there who's a mechanic & friendly with the local police (he fixes their cars).

Ask for Chris at the police station, I'm sure he can sort something out for you.
