patagonia in march
Hello,
I am currently planning tour of south america begining in Buenes Aires in March 06 heading straight down to Ushuaia then north through argentina/chile/bolivia/peru what I would like to know is will I be able to ride into Ushuaia at this time of the year (late march)or is likely to be under heavy snow, also am I likely to require an electric vest for riding in patagonia ta this time of the year? |
Hola
March is quite late for doing that, best time would be three months before, march is almost fall there. I think that it's quite unsure what weather you can expect at that time, because usually it get's pretty cold down there in march, but it might be that you won't have snow at all. Try to start from BA in Jan/Feb Marco http://www.schnueriger.net |
Thanks for the advise,
Unfortunateley I have no control over my start date which is a shame, i guess Ill just have to give it a try and see what happens! Regards, Phill |
Hi Wicksy,
Don,t worrie to much about snow. It will be a bit cold, but not to bad. If things start to get to cold you can always turn north. One thing you will experiance is wind... Lots of it!!!! Just go for it, thats the hole idea isn't it? Maarten ------------------ - www.maartensworld.com - |
