Planning 6 week trip. Lake Havasu to Playa Del Carmen

Hello, I'm looking for advice and rout planing information for my trip. I have 6 weeks off work and am staying in playa del carmen for a week. Do I have enough time to make it from lake Havasu to Playa and back? I am planing on riding a Suzuki 650. People are saying I'm crazy but from what I have read on here it doesn't seem so. If you have any advice for me it would be greatly appreciated. I am a 25 year old Canadian and a strong rider. I think some back roads/ trails would be awesome if it's safe. Any good rout suggestions would be great. Thanks!
