Quick side trip from Rio
 

Hi there

I am in Rio de Janerio for only a very short period of time, so I can only manage a day/ overnight ride. Any suggestions? I'm into dual purpose and pref rugged natural views.

Also, what are the best routes in Brazil. I've seen some great pictures in a BMW catalogue but don't know which part.

I would head to Iguazu, then northwest it to Bonito, then north and west across the Pantanal, north to Cuiaba, northwest to Vila Bella (Lost World), north to Porto Velho, then west to Peru. See my website. We came the other direction, but it was incredible! :D
