Rains and mud in East Africa

Hi all
can any one tell about the rainy seasons in east africa ,like from South of Sudan to Tanzania ,
when is the best time to avoid the rain ,mud and to enjoy the sun ?

Hi Omar,

as far as I know,the long rain season in Kenya and Tanzania starts mid march to mid june and the short rain season mid october to mid december.
by my opinion the best time to visit Kenya and Tanzania is july,august and september.day average temperatures between 22-25 celsius,night 13-16 in the mid country,the coastal area a bit higher 25-30 and 20-23 by night,the best time for motorbike saffari.
