Recommendations for route planning software / apps?
 

Hi all,

I'm looking at doing a rtw trip next year and wondered if you had any recommendations on good route planning software?

I'm a photographer so will be trying to put together a list of places in each country I want to visit / photograph and then planning my route loosely around that. Tried google maps etc but it's not that great... What I really need is something I can put on my laptop / iPad and 'pin' locations etc and would really appreciate some tips!
