route suggestions?
hi all leaving uk 28 may 5 weeks, would be gratefull for feed back on route. head east towards leipzig colditz,on through czech republic.poland krakow through tatras slovakia,tip hungary into romainia towards brasov,on to serbia kosovo, into macidonia into abainia, montenegro croatia bosnia mostar sarajevo slovinia austria home uk, some camping some hotels,il be 2 up the only concern for me is albaina, as il be loaded up an i know the traffic can be bad. many thanks.:thumbup1:

Just arrived home this morning from Leipzig, I blasted out there this weekend and left bike with friends. I head back on 14th May for 3weeks Colditz - Krakow - L'Viv(UKR) - Kamianets-Podil's'kyi(UKR) - Chernivtsi(UKR) then into Romania via Siret to Suceava(RO). A Romanian friend gave my RO itinerary the once over and looks like this Suceava - Cascada Cailor in Parcul National Park(largest waterfall in RO) - Cluj - Sighisoara - Sibiu - Bran(via Trans highway) - Brasov - Constanta - Vama Veche... After RO I'm undecided but most likely head home via Bulgaria, Serbia etc... I can recommend Lindner hotel leipzig, 40eur a night for 4**** and can park bike under mini canopy right outside reception... There is Stasi museum in Leipzig as well that is meant to be worth a look as well... Where are you planning on visiting in RO/BG?? Cheers, John |

I was in Albania last year and was surprised by the friendly and helpful people. We were in the south Sarande and went up by the coast to Fier. Then up to Berat, Corovodë and up to lake Ohrid (very nice). Then into MK, KS and back into Al to take the boat trip on Lake Komani!!!
