I've just returned to England after a brief tour of France and Spain. Unfortunately I had to cut the return trip short due to business. (I rode from the Spainish/French border back to the UK yesterday.)

There are so many roads just to stumble over. I went too early in the season (which would account for the snow in Spain), but this was just my first look around of hopefully many more.

My wife and I went from Northern France (Calais) to Spain for a three week tour, mostly in Spain, last September. Our friend rented a 900 Diversion and probably would not do so again. My wife and I were on BMW R1150RT's and were very happy with the choice. There are great roads in Spain and lots of history. if anyone's interested, the trip is now sorted. we're sailing to santander 21st july and spending three weeks touring north spain and teh west coast of france as we make our way back to cherbourg to travel back to england.

if anyone has any thoughts on places we must visit, i'd be interested.

btw., i bought the 900 trophy (1995, single headlight brg!) it's fab.

I'm going on a similar trip w/ my Dad in about 3 weeks. I'm on an XRL650 and my Dad's got an F650.
