Routes in Morroco
 

Hi there everyone, I am keen to travel Morroco on a r850r, I would be more than greatful to anyone who has any ideas to rural sealed/light track, road routes around Morroco which includes the Anti Atlas and possibly further south.

from th atlas down south you can't go wrong

try to do the piste from Taouz(Merzouga) to Zagora.
Try to pop in at Remlia's Auberge Aghbalou.
Himmi and his brothers are a fun bunch and more than happy to show you around.

that piste is one of the nicest pistes in Morocco to my opinion.

is that piste 'doable' on a road bike? (ie a bmw r850r)

And to get to Merzouga try taking the route over the High Atlas via Imilchil that ends up ın the Todra Gorge. Check it out on a map it's pretty hard to miss. Most of the route is easy with a couple of very short difficult bits depending on how the weather has been. The scenery is stunning. It's a fair way to do in one day so is best done steadily with a night's stop in Imilchil.
Once you hit the asphalt again by the Todra gorge there are another couple of pistes over the Anti-Atlas you can take that will turn you up pretty close to Merzouga.

No way: forget it. Piste from Taouz to Zagora is too difficult for r850r. We were there in December by Africa Twin and it was really difficult, tracka was sandy, especially in Oued area. Remlia is beautifull, I remember Auberge Ouezina, perhaps the best place on the track.
Imilchil is a great idea, you can make a loop from Todra gorge to Dades. In this area you will find also interesting and easy route between Todra and Alnif. You can cross Jebel this way and make another loop.
