Russia to Japan
Hello,
I find myself with my Transalp 650 on the Silk Road and would like to travel from Russia to Japan in August 2014. I travel alone and have received a 30 day tourist visa for Russia. After the silk road I want to go via Kazakhstan from Omsk to Khabarovsk. From there, there are two alternatives for Japan The first way is via Khabarovsk to go to Wladostok and there to take a ferry to South Japan. The second way is from Khabarovsk until after Vanino, 550 km to drive. There, a ferry to Sakhalin and from there take another ferry to northern Japan. Can anyone tell me how the plug is designed to Khabarovsk by Vanino me? If the road difficult to drive when you have not much off road experience? Are river crossings and sandy sections to be expected? Is there way to buy gasoline or food? Hartmut |
Novosibirsk mechanic and workshop
We are in Novosibirsk and broken down. We are waiting for parts from UK.
It is a broken bevel-dive for the back of a GS. If you have a chain drive be grateful! I want to recommend a really great mechanic who has helped us get this sorted. If you break down near Novosibirsk ask for Stoppie. Andre will help you. Stoppie is on 8-913-777-5477. The workshop is 274 Bolshevicskaya Ulitsa in Novosibirsk. Stoppie is great. |
