Safe route through Mauritania
 

Due to the recent escalation in violence in Mauritania I was wondering if anyone could recommend a safe route through the country. If there is one...

We are looking into ferries to bypass Mauritania.

you've started a buch of threads with rather basic questions. May I suggest you use the search function, there is already a lot of information here.

That and a quick look at a map would tell you that there is only one road through Mauri, if you don't want to go hardcore desert. Team up with other travelers if you're concerned about security.

How much have you been traveling? Have you been to Africa or any developing countries? Traveling in foreign cultures is really stressfull and exhausting but also exciting and overwhelming. Just be open, take it easy, don't rush it and go with the flow.
