Share China Costs

Hi all,

We are planing to leave the UK around the 27th of April 2015 and want to head through the Stans on our way back to OZ. (1 Van, 4 people)

We'd definitely be interested in meeting up with others to share the costs of going through China. But neither the route is set so far so if anyone has a stricter plan, we are happy to align with ours.

Hopeful speak to you all soon.

Hi,
Me and 3 others on motorcycles (all Malaysians) plan to ride Germany to Malaysia starting in May 2015. We may include China if number is appropriate to cut cost. Seem your timing match our with few adjustment if that not to difficult to adjust. Our route may include Germany, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, the Stans, China, Mongolia, China, Laos, Thailand and Malaysia.
It would be nice if others can make up for number. We can communicate in details. My email amzahsulaiman@yahoo.com.

BTW, when you cross into Thailand and Malaysia we are more than happy to give all the necessary assistance you require. Look forward bier

share china costs

Hi all,

my next ride to Asia will include China, and I hope I can cross the border with the bike, if not I will buy a bike in China.

I will leave very early in the year, 01. April from Sagres Portugal and ride fast thru Russia. The idea at the moment is to cross from Russia (near Vladivostok) into China. But I could change my plan and go into Mongolia. But I want to cross around Mid or End of May 2015, anyone willing to cross together?

Saludos desde Bolivia

To make a group

Generally speaking, the cost for China paperwork is not cheap, besides all the procedures with paperwork, they also require:
1. For self-driving group: a Chinese guide is necessary.
2. For riding group: a Chinese guide and a supporting car is necessary. So the riding group will be more expensive if you don't have your own supporting car.

These three are the main cost in a adventure trip.

therefore, maybe this is a good idea: to mix the self-driving group and riding group, then the guest's vehicle also can be the supporting car to save the cost.

but need to note the points:
1. in principle, the motorbike cannot riding on the expressway in China. and the whole group need to follow a fixed route, therefore the vehicle should follow the motorcycle to explore the normal way(national road, county road etc.)
for example: if you would make a group driving from Laos to Mongolia, then you should take the normal way, there should note for the driving hours each day.
but if you make a group go through the Xinjiang-Tibet, not too much problems cause it's all the normal way in the highland.

2. Even if you make a group respective into "car" and "motorbike" group, you'd better to choose the similar type of "vehicles", like 4x4, sedan, big campervan etc. different vehicle may require different road conditions.

hope these info make sense for you. welcome to write to me for learning more specific information at abby.zhang@navo-tour.com

And hope all of you will have a wonderful exploration in China!

Welcome to China!:scooter::welcome:
