Situation in Venezuela
 

This is a regular question on the forum, but as the situation seems to be very dynamic I would like a fresh perspective.

My fiance is in Georgetown, Guyana and wants to ship her bike to Buenos Aires. One of the few ferries that will take it leaves from Puerto Cabello in Venezuela.

Obviously she will avoid big cities and stick to countryside in daylight, but is it still adviceable to enter the country as a woman travelling alone?
