South Africa to Namibia
 

Hello everyone

I am a British National with a 3 month visitors visa. I own a house here and my bike is registered in my name here in South Africa. Going up to Namibia for a bit of an adventure.

Any advice for the border? English Licence, South African registered bike, Tourist visa. Bit of a strange one.

I have crossed a couple of times with a UK registered bike, UK licence and passport with no problem, visa on arrival. Namibia is in a customs union with SA so an SA registered bike should not be a problem.
The road from Ais-Ais up to Swapokmund should give you all the adventure you are looking for.

Just for fun I'm going to do it on a Harley Sportster

If you are going to take to the gravel I would fit a bash plate to the engine and perhaps some knobbly tyres, other than that no problem.
