South America 2008
Hey everyone im Nick from Colombia. Hopefully, in agoust 2008, I'll start my trip departing from Bogota, Colombia and I'll start heading south to Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, then north to Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil, Maybe the Guyanas, Venezuela and back to Bogota.
I think I'll be riding a BMW F650GS. I have about 5-6 months for this trip. I wanted to get some suggestions regarding the weather this time of the year, Bike, tools, spare parts, paper work, insurance. Currently im 17 years old but by time I start the trip I'll be 18. This site has a wealth of information on it. I think people could just give it to you but if you are serious you should investigate on your own and get familiar with everything on here and in the long run you will have helped yourself. To learn and figure it out yourself you will be better prepared.
