Spain in a day?
 

Hi all,
Educated guesses needed: my ferry docks at Bilbao at 8am and my desired ferry leaves Almeria (nr Gibraltar ish) at 10.30pm (Check in)for Morocco. Do'able on an SV650, 80mph, short stops etc. ???
The AA say 11hrs, I think 13hrs. Any one stupid enough to of done this recently your advice would be appreciated.

bad idea, just take 2 days to get fresher in riff area, or volubilis the second day

Depends on your bike, and how hard your seat is, can be done, but is over 800 miles. I did it in 2004 on a KTM 950, didn't stop all day but got off the ferry in St Sebastian 09:00, was in Algeceras by 22:00, knackered. I stopped in an Hotel in La Linia overnight. NOT recomended.

Thanks for advice, it's a bugger planning a trip on your tod! I think I'll take the least stressful option now, but I'll keep doing the neck exercises any way.

Probably too late now but rode from Malaga to Bilbao in 9hrs couple of years ago. :nono:
