Tajikistan to India
 
Hi, I'm planning London to Vietnam, then Vladivostok and home in 2012.

Is there a relatively hassle free route through Tajikistan to India as an alternative to Iran, Pakistan?

And if I must take Pakistan route is it reasonable safe?

Check out the maps... There is no border to India or Pakistan... China and Afghanistan, yes.

John, that's an excellent start point.. I don't normally plan this much. But on your recommendation I looked at Google maps. And then I checked the satellite view. As I travel on a cruiser (2003 Victory Vegas) this is probably not a viable route.
