Hello,

I'm in the early stages of planning a Cairo to Cape Town ride, and see that many people set off in/around September, but have not found much discussion on the seasonality issues of this ride. Obviously the climate changes on the way down, but does a Sept departure allow you to capture the coolest/driest weather? Any info on this?
