Trip costs, fuel and budget for AFRICA
 

Hi everyone!

I hope that this information is useful to those of you who are planning an overland trip through Africa.

I have just written a post on our blog with cost breakdowns for our travels. We were 2 people, 1 Toyota Lancruiser:

Stage 1: Europe & North Africa (Morocco -> Senegal) October 2012 - February 2013
Stage 2: Southern and East Africa, March - October 2013

We have created lots of Fact Sheets for each country we travelled through, and GPS waypoint files with useful waypoints (not in Tracks4Africa), which are available on the Downloads page on the blog (address below).

There is also a page with border crossing information, and another page with visa information. (all on the blog)

Everything is available for you to download and use - we hope to help you make your trip as enjoyable as ours was!

I like the way how you document everything. Too sad that you dont drive the full way, it would have been the best documentation available, for border crossings!

Unfortunately we did look more one the daily diary then to note the waypoints and necessary steps. Therefore i cant complete the missing countrys. :(
