UAE to London via Iran and Turkey
 

Hi.

we are 3 bikers planning to leave first of June 2013 from UAE to London via Iran, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Swiss, France and finaly to London UK.

we have these bikes; Harley Electra Glide, Victory Vision and BMW F800.

please advice and guide us which route to follow and which areas and locations to visit.

we are still sourcing around and grabing here and there some information.

we will stay on wild camping and hotels. please advice which hotels to choose.

Hi dear adventure riders

about route in my mind you can follow this route:
bandar-e-abbas,kerman,shiraz,yazd,isfahan,sanandaj,urmia and turkish border

If you want i can send yours which hotels you can use which is clean and cheap in all the cities

BTW we have place for staying travelers with safe parking,bed,breakfast,lunch,showing city and so on.if you want contact us when you cross our city.

Hi Mr Hossein,

Myself and some friends are trying to plan a trip from Dubai - Ireland for sometime next year. How long would we need to ride through Iran, going by that route you posted with Tehran included in it also. So basically from Bandar Abbas to the Turkish border?

Any advice really appreciated,

There is nothing interesting on this north anatolia route except İstanbul if you dont have a personal reason to be there....

A--If you want to meet the colors of Turkey, your route through Turkey must definitely cover Cappadocia,Eğridir Lake,Pamukkale, Ephesus,Gallipoli and İstanbul..(If you have more than 10 days for Turkey, Lake Van,mount Nemrut,Stone road may be included.)

B--Three bordergates available betwen Turkey and Iran..From north to south.
1-Gürbulak...doğubeyazıt
2-kapıköy....van
3-esendere..hakkari

Thanks for your informative replay. I already came back from my long distance riding from Muscat, Oman to Hamburg, German. I took 20 days and crossing 10,200km.
Passing through these amazing countries.
UAE, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Italy, France, Belgium, Netherlands and finally Germany.

Noflyzone, we are doing your trip in reverse; UK to Turkey to Iran to UAE. Did you write a blog or similar, so I can see some information about your trip? Did you follow the plan in your first post, and are there any big lessons, like routes to avoid? Thanks. Harry Sherrard.
