UK to Istanbul in September - route and tips help?
 

I'm taking my Multistrada for a 3 week tour. I'm planning to go via the Alps, through to Romania (Transfaragasan highway) and on to Istanbul. Then back via Greece, Igoumenitsa, ferry to Italy, then return to UK.

Any route or good road recommendations would be most appreciated, along with any tips on nice hotels, sightseeing en route, or any other advice.

I'm leaving around Sept 7th, riding my Ducati.
