West coast africa route advice needed
 

Yo everyone.

Im in morocco now and enjoying this beautiful country and inhabitants by bike.

Im making my way south but need some experience on my route.Already have the advice from a fellow hubber about where to get visa etc.

Mauritania, senegal, mali,ivory cost, ghana, togo, benin, nigeria, cameroon, gambon, congo 1 and 2, angola, uganda, tanzania, kenia.

I ride a 650 strom so offroad will be as limited as possible (as far as possible in Africa).Also no offroad eperience or long motorcycle travel (practice makes perfect).Getting there in one piece is the goal, something with a turtle and a hare......

I'm arriving in Europe in September from Vladivostok and planing doing Africa is well but not 100% sure yet if going down the east coast or west coast.

I would love to do the west coast but someone told me that the east coast is less hassle and he was riding all the way up from Capetown into Egypt and shipped from Israel to Greece.

Do you have any information yet? Please keep me informed how you go with the visa etc. My friend just got back and he was going from Morocco all the way to Benin. Question from there is how easy will it be to get visa for Nigeria?

I'm traveling on a German passport. Hope you have a great trip and don't worry about the V-Strom it can do dirt road is well I've took mine off road many times.
