In Belarus:

In Ukraine: https://picasaweb.google.com/1136194...basketOfEurope https://picasaweb.google.com/1136194...tewayToTheWest Would recommend Crimea, the Carpathians, Lviv, and some of the small towns in the north east such as Novhorod-Siverskiy or Hlukhiv. You could cross from SE Belarus into this area, very beuatiful. Daniel |
Thanks, I planned my route from Smolensk to Minsk onto Brest and to Homyel to get to Kiev. Is it possible to drive close to Tsjernobyl?

It seems that not many riders here have been in Belarus. In the meantime our visa for Russia & Belarus are ok!

Due to the bad weather in Central Europe I had to adjust some travelplans...
I 've just returned since last week from Poland and Kaliningrad. I had a great time over there and it's a nice introduction into Russia. Try to arrive in the big city on a Sunday however. 'Cause I've been stuck for a few hours in traffic trying to reach the city centre. Big roads are superb...minor roads are potholed are unpaved but a very scenic landscape dotted with nice villages. I made my way back to Belgium following the Baltic coast in Poland. Which went very smoothly :mchappy: |
We are leaving end of June so weather will be ok I hope.:mchappy:
