What you lot think of Bolivia...
 

Hi all,

Just wondering what your take on Bolivia is? Anything worth having a good look at? Did you have a favourite city, town or place in particular? Any must-do roads? I also want to base off somewhere for a month or so, and practice my Spanish, so any recommendations of a good city would be great, I guess it would be a toss up between La Paz, Sucre, Potosi, and Cochamba, or anywhere else if you would recommend it!

I had 6 weeks in Bolivia, enjoyed almost all of it and had no problems (although some have enjoyed it less - Ellen of the twomotokiwis was recently robbed in Cochabamba).

La Paz is a big crazy city, great for a few days but don't think I'd want to stay there a month. I know some people who stayed in Sucre long-term, and all enjoyed it. I think it would be my pick if I was going to stay awhile - pretty city, between the mountains and the jungle, not too big, nice people... don't know about Spanish Schools there, but there are some... good luck!
