Where to ride in Pakistan?
 

Hello there!
Does someone has travelled in Pakistan recently?
I was wondering what road I could ride on from Quetta to Gilgit and go down to Lahore?
Do you know nice village or city on the road?
Also, if you have a list of place to stay, hotel or guest house, (not too expensive and safe for the moto), it will be great for me!
Where to stay in Quetta?
After that, I will go to India from Lahore, so if you have any information about this border (hours, day off etc...) it will be nice!
I've read not long ago that we don't need anymore the NOC. Is it right?

between taftan and multan you will be escorted by friendly levis so they will take you to your hotel to stay until you are free in multan/sometimes lahore...there is no other route and choice..Keep much bottled drinking water..All the best..

You will be escorted from Quetta to the outskirts of sukkur . You can't go directly east to go to Lahore , we did this yesterday . 14 October . Have a safe ride. Stewnsam on a gs100 on a old 1988

I will enter in Pakistan from Iran (Taftan) so I will ride from Taftan to Quetta to Multan (or Lahore) with escort! ...
How any days? Do you have an idea?

Taftan to Quetta will take about 15 hr driveing long long day ,we stopped at daldandin which took us about 8 hr then to Quetta all most 10 hr take snacks and plenty of water , Quetta to sukkur with escort is about 8hr . Sukkur to multan is about 470ks. Hope this help

I will think about this road... I'll probably be there next summer, it's going to be very hot, so I will take a lot of water and food ...
The levis drives you to hotels, or did you slept in police station?
And also, do you find fuel easily on the road? Ron 91 or less?

Did you ride this road without escort? How many days it take from Quetta to Islamabad by this road? 2 or 3 days or more?

You will have to follow escort from Taftan to Quetta. It will take roughly 2 days to reach Lahore from Quetta. You can then enter India from wagah border. If you need any help in Pakistan, i will be pleased to help you.

After Quetta, I will probably go north, on the KKH before joining Lahore!

Although its shorter to drive Quetta-Zhob-DI Khan-Islamabad but you will not be allowed to take this route as it runs near the Adfghan border and Waziristan. Your only option is Quetta to Sukkur and then wherever you choose to go.

Yes! The road via Zhob-DI Khan seems to be nice and shorter to ride to Islamabad, but I suppose I don't have the choice, so I will go to Sukkur etc...
Foreigners are not allowed to ride in Balochistan, neither waziristan?

Waziristan is still not fully stable and shall stay so untill Afghanistan is settled.
Its sad because its beautiful with wonderful people.
