Read through your report with great interest. It seems the east is definitely less hassle than the west. I spent a few weeks in Morocco earlier this year. I only went as far down as Tan Tan, had a fantastic time.
I am sure i will be taking the eastern route. Whatever political troubles there are I hope will have eased of or not be an issue by then. We shall see....... |

I'm on the road in S America, but starting to get an itch to ship to Cape Town when I'm done and head north - so interested in this thread. I would have assumed a key factor on deciding east v west would be time of year - to avoid the rainy seasons which are at diffeer times of the year. Surprised no one has mentioned it. Is that because it is deemed to be relatively unimportant? I'm basing much of my planning on it, to decide which route. Cheers! Paul |
