Border crossing Thailand – Malaysia, ( Bukit Kayu Hitam)
I crossed this border post today, easy going.
Had overstayed my TIP, no problem, just had to pay BATH 10.000 Insurance, ITP and SIM card at shopping center on the left before first traffic lights after leaving customs area Safe travels Albert |

do you have any contact information to buy malay insurance, as in the K.L. area there is very little info about it !! And you payed 10000 bath to overstay your TIP ?? Thats almost 300 dollars, no ?? How long did you overstay. Thanks in advance anyway !! |

Sorry for the late reply I bought my insurance at the border when entering Malaysia coming from Thailand. According to my understanding overstaying the permit costs 10000 bath whatever the length of overstaying |
