Sorry-wrong title above I meant Laos to Myanmar!

Hi, we are making preliminary inquiries to see if anyone is interested in forming a group to minimise costs to transit with a guide through Thailand (as per new regulations) from Laos to Myanmar, at the end of August beginning of September 2017? We are a landy defender so not speedy! I understand the estimated time of transit will be 3 days (600km). Thanks. Jenny.

I believe you meant Thailand to Myanmar? Through Tachileik or Mae Sot border? Because there are no land borders from Laos to Myanmar currently.

Yes I mean from Laos through Thailand to Myanmar-thanks.

The new bridge at Xien Kok, Laos into Myanmar, currently isn't an international crossing, many hoping it will be, which would mean you could by-pass Thailand.
