Liaison officer for Myanmar
 

Hi,

just got the news from a travel agent that you do not need to take along a liaison officer in Myanmar anymore, just the guide. Can anybody confirm. Is there maybe even a sign that we do not need a guide any longer?

I'm headed to the Embassy in BKK in a couple of weeks to try and sort a trip on a Thai bike through Myanmar into India. I'll let you know what I find out bier
