Malaysia to New Zealand - carnet
 

Hi there

My friends and I are planning to buy bikes in Malaysia and then ride to Singapore, Indonesia, Australia and finally end up in New Zealand. We don't want to get a carnet as the bikes won't be going back to Malaysia. From what I've seen so far, it looks like we won't be able to get into Indonesia without a carnet. Does anyone have any recent knowledge on this?

You will need a Carnet for Indonesia and also for Australia and New Zealand.
