Shipping to Indonesia - looking for an agent in Jakarta
 

Hey,
I want to ship my bike from vladivostok to Jakarta (temporary import with carnet). On the russian side everything is ok, but i think it will be good to have somebody who can support in jakarta.
Does someone have any experience shipping to jakarta, or can give me some contacts? I have witten to 5 agencies i found online two weeks ago, but got no response...

We shipped to Surabaya 4 months ago as customs in Indonesia would not accept our car into Jakarta but only into Surabaya. We used Hardrodt in Surabaya and they were very good. The company is a.hardrodt. If you email me on sue@nworth.co.uk I will send you the email of the person we dealt with.

Thank you for the information. Because i want to be in australia not too late i decided now to ship my Bike there directly and travel a bit trough sea as a backpacker or rent a bike or something like this. Too bad there is a process for temporary import of a vehicle to indonesia but no agency in jakarta wants to try it.
