Singapore - tow vehicle to Malaysia border to avoid insurance
 

Hello all - doe anyone know if this service exists for cars?

I have read about Bikebulance and similar services that will tow motorbikes to the border bridge - this apparently avoids the vehicle's owner having to pay up for expensive third party insurance.

I want to find out if getting a tow is cheaper than the insurance.

Would not be a 'tow' as such .. but in the back of a van or on top of a tray for a motorcycle. Anything with its wheels on the ground would need some form of insurance/registration.

A breakdown service should have a suitable vehicle... google Singapore tow/breakdown firms?
