My girlfriend and I met up with Nigel for a beer on a recent South Island trip in Feb 2016. Nigel has great local knowledge and provided some great ideas for routes etc. And top bloke to boot!

Hi all,
I shipped a bike to NZ this year (Feb 2017) to ride around south island and Nigel was very knowledgeable on road conditions, accommodation etc in South Island before I shipped the bike. This helped me with preliminary planning. After I arrived in NZ I made arrangements to call in to see Nigel just to say hello and thankyou. He is a very interesting and intelligent person and I could have spent a whole day (or more) talking to Nigel about travel, work and life in general. Great cup of tea and scones with jam! Thankyou Nigel. Great bloke.
