Alain, are you hiring a vehicle? Many of the smaller Aus hire depots have parking spots available; they are nothing like the big US depots.

I stayed at The Art House, a backpackers in Launceston a couple of weeks ago. A great place and they let me leave my bike in their yard for a week when I went off walking
