From Suriname to Brazil

Last week i past the French Guyana border with Suriname. The custom in both country checked the bikepapers, aspecially the insurance for FG. The road in FG is superb for a biketour. Before Cayenne is also a police controlpost. There they also check the papers. The hotels in Cayenne starts at € 65. From Cayenne to Macapa is the road also good, except a stretch of 150 km. This stretch is lataerite and slippery if raining. The bridge over the L'Oyapock was for some raison closed. I and 2 other bikerider took the small boats to get to Brazil. It was a sceary experience.The Brazil custom is quite relaxed. Just 1 stamp to enter the country. In Santana, a small city near Macapa, i took the ferry to Belem.
The boat took 36 hours. There is almost every day a boat leaving.
