Iran motorcycle repairs/mechanic
Hi folks,
Had a minor crash today offroad on the way to Tehran. Looking for motorcycle mechanics/repair shops that anyone can recommend. I have done rough road repairs with duct tape and cable ties, but want to get the parts repaired/replaced or at least welded. Parts that need proper welding/fixing are - headlight mount - cam chain tensioned - clutch looked into I can do all the basic stuff but don't trust myself with picking about in the clutch cover. Bike model - Triumph tiger 800xc 2014 Have ordered parts from my sponsor, but anyone who has or knows connections in Tehran (where I limped into today) would be greatly appreciated. This post is as urgent as they get, I don't have a whole lot of time and plan to be gone by the latest the end of next week (week ending 10/10/2016) for Mashhad. Thanks in advance Dutchie hairywangoesglobal.org |
I can recommend Mahak Ciklet. Despite the official ban on 250+cc motorcycles for Iranians, they have a lot of experience working on big bikes. They helped me out big time when my crank shaft bearing failed. Reza and Mahammad are very experienced mechanics and all-round good guys.
You can find them on Vali Asr street, not too far from the railway station, on the left hand side coming from the train station, next to a small hospital. That entire street is full of motorcycle workshops btw. It looks like this: https://photos.smugmug.com/Travel/Mo...-m85jjnb-L.jpg |
