3rd party insurance for ALL SA (Carta Verde)
 

Hi,

Has anybody managed to buy in Peru a 3rd party insurance covering Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina and possible Brazil? Is this possible here? I guess it is called Carta Verde.

know this is an old post but for what it's worth:
In Peru I would not count on that - you'll have to be satisfied to find a short term insurance. You can get short term SOATs in main cities and some borders only. otherwise you have to get the standard annual policies.
(Chile does sell Mercosur insurance for sure though)
