AAA Travelers Check Visa Card
 

I was wondering what peoples opinion is on AAA Travel Check Visa Card are? It seems to a good idea to me because you can set up a pin number and pull from ATM's and get the best exchange rate. How do you feel about these in South America...

I have same question. I'd like some input from others before I commit to the prepaid AAA Visa card.

Sounds like a debit card? Check to see if they charge a foreign transaction fee? The only credit card I'm aware of that does not charge the 1-3% foreign transaction fee is Capital One.

There are no international fees just maybe an ATM fee from the bank you pull money from but I am not sure if they do that in Latin America. As far as I know there are no fees except when you buy the card through AAA after that no hidden fees. I asked when I went to AAA.
